1. General principle

OptimaLabs markets:

• Research products intended exclusively for experimental use in the laboratory.
• Topical cosmetic products intended for external application in accordance with their description.

Due to the sensitive nature of the Products, returns are strictly regulated.

2. Eligibility conditions for return

A return can only be accepted if:

• The product is unopened
• The original seal is intact
• The packaging is complete and undamaged
• The request must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Any product that has been opened, handled, altered or stored under uncontrolled conditions cannot be returned.

For safety and integrity reasons, opened topical cosmetic products are not eligible for return.

3. Procedure

All return requests must be made by email to:

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number may be required before any return.

No returns will be accepted without prior written approval.

4. Costs and risks

Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

The transfer of risk remains with the Buyer until the product is effectively received and inspected by OptimaLabs.

We recommend shipping with tracking and insurance.

5. Reimbursement

After receiving and inspecting the returned product:

• If the return is compliant, the refund will be issued via the original payment method.
• Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.

OptimaLabs reserves the right to refuse any refund if the conditions are not strictly respected.

6. Non-returnable products

For reasons of safety, hygiene, and scientific integrity, the following are not eligible for return:

• Open products
• Products handled
• Products that have been stored improperly
• Custom products or special orders
• Topical cosmetic products with a broken seal

7. Damaged Products

If a product is received damaged, the Buyer must notify OptimaLabs within 48 hours of receipt, accompanied by photographic evidence.

After this period, no claims will be accepted.

8. Right of withdrawal

As the Research Products are reserved for professional use, the provisions relating to the right of withdrawal applicable to consumers do not apply.

Regarding topical cosmetic products, no right of withdrawal applies if the product has been opened, unsealed or used, in accordance with the applicable rules for products sealed for reasons of hygiene or health protection.
